Attention Student Teachers! If you are currently student teaching this semester and are an official NEA/NSEA dues-paying member, you are officially eligible for the Washoe Retired Education Association’s (WREA) scholarship. WREA will award one (1) $1,500.00 scholarship to one (1) University of Nevada student pursuing a career in PUBLIC EDUCATION and currently enrolled in the UNR Education Internship Program.  The goal of the WREA is to see the scholarship recipient using the skills and knowledge gained at UNR in the Washoe County School District or in our great state of Nevada. 

The scholarship is due on April 25, 2025
