Welcome, aspiring educators!
The University of Nevada Education Association (U of NEA) is UNR's branch of the National Education Association (NEA), the largest labor union in the country. Our club is dedicated to bringing together future educators and offering them opportunities for community engagement, personal growth, and collaboration.
The University of Nevada Education Association is primarily focused on benefiting future educators, but is open to all UNR students. We offer events and benefits for paid and unpaid members, including national events hosted by the National Education Association, professional development events/speakers, community service engagement, and more.
We also serve as a student chapter of the Nevada State Education Association (NSEA).

Ending racism, sexism, homophobia, and other systemic injustices in schools is critical to protecting the human and civil rights of all students— both ourselves and the ones we will teach.
